Many of its backers are hoping for it to challenge stereo’s dominant position as the de-facto format. Yet many challenges exist in giving spatial audio a chance. In this talk, we look at the technical challenges that need to be overcome if we’re going to deliver on the opportunities that come with making spatial audio the next chapter in audio history.
