Jon studied an integrated masters in Acoustical Engineering at Southampton University - with a keen interest in everything from directional audio and room acoustics, to full-stack development and building hearing aids out of Raspberry Pis, he was inevitably going to end up working in audio. Which is a good job, because his childhood dream of growing up to be a dinosaur was cruelly dashed when he learned of their extinction.

He has since joined the legendary analogue console manufacturer SSL as a Test Engineer in the R&D department and having developed the 'SSL Test Manager' platform and moving to a Senior role, he is now Product Manager of plug-in products - the perfect environment to develop and refine his music production skills and continue to bang on to everybody about UX.

Outside of work, he is interested in games design and graphics, generative art, and as a hobby he writes and produces songs both as a solo artist, and with his alt-rock band 'Pylon Heights' and indie-folk duo 'Jon & Abbie'.
